The Freedom Voice Celebration [FVC] Gospel Talent Showcase & Talent Competition showcases the artistic expressions of  gifted and talented Artists from around San Diego and the surrounding regions and focuses on a celebration of FREEDOM of expression through the Arts while commemorating the life and legacy of Civil Rights leader,

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

FVC promotes a messgae of freedom and hope to inspire people to live, dream and achieve.  Artists who participates in Freedom Voice are encouraged to use their creative talents as their voice with a greater knowlege and deeper sense of passion, appreciation and inspiration.   The FVC platform welcomes diversity with regard to performance genres and welcomes all ages. 

The purpose of the Freedom Voice Celebration is to provide a creative performance platform for Artists to use their creative talents and express their voice, and to promote the pursuit of higher education and learning in the Arts.


The Artist selected to have the most inspirational performance that best  captures and portays the theme of the Freedom Voice Celebration and the historic, Mountain Top, "I Have A Dream" speech by civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will receive a cash donation in the amount of $1,000, along with other prizes.

NOTE: Performance submissions does not automatically guarantee a performance opportunity in the Freedom Voice Celebration.  

All performance submissions will be reviewed by the Freedom Voice Celebration Event Committee. 

Fundraising Opportunity

Participation in FVC also offers wonderful fundraising opportunities as an incentive to participants for their participation in the Freedom Voice Celebration.
